The Springfield-Greene County Health Department is actively supporting mental health efforts in the region through their Mental Health 417 initiative. With a grant in hand to develop a campaign called “Hey Man, You Good?”, they recognized the need for a strong, cohesive brand to anchor the campaign and future mental health initiatives.
They came to us to update and build out the brand identity, aiming to increase presence and awareness within the community while creating a foundation for ongoing mental health outreach across the county. This included designing a new website to serve as a central hub for information, resources, and community connection.
We began by reviewing the existing brand and auditing their digital presence to identify where they needed to increase visibility. Through discovery meetings, we developed a refreshed brand strategy and redesigned their visual identity, followed by a website update.
We worked closely with Mental Health 417 throughout the process to ensure alignment with their goals. A significant part of their work involves collaboration with the Healthy Living Alliance, a coalition of local organizations focused on mental health, including the Bureau of Behavioral Health, CoxHealth, Mercy, and Borrow My Angel. SBH meets with this group monthly to ensure comprehensive support for mental health initiatives in the area.
Beyond the digital space, the team actively participates in community engagement by tabling at mental health events. You can also follow their efforts on social media via Instagram and Facebook.
