Ozarks Regional Economic Partnership

The Ozarks Regional Economic Partnership is driving economic growth across a 10 county region in Southwest Missouri. Formerly known as the Springfield Regional Economic Partnership, the organization expanded its focus to better represent the strength and opportunity of the entire region rather than a single city.

As a division of the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, OREP works to attract new business investment, support job creation, and position the Ozarks as a competitive destination for companies looking to expand or relocate. Their primary audience, site selectors, needs quick and clear access to data and insights when evaluating potential locations.

With this shift in identity and audience focus, OREP needed a website that could clearly communicate their regional value while making it easy for users to explore opportunities and access critical information.

We began by understanding OREP’s transition from a Springfield focused initiative to a regional economic leader. From there, we restructured the website to better reflect the scale and collaboration of the 10 county region while prioritizing the needs of site selectors.

Through a strategic approach to messaging and user experience, we simplified how information is presented, making it easier to quickly understand the region’s advantages, available sites, and key resources. We also ensured the website worked seamlessly alongside an external interactive mapping tool, allowing users to explore available properties and access detailed site data without friction.

Throughout the process, the focus remained on creating a streamlined and intuitive experience that supports fast decision making while strengthening the overall perception of the Ozarks as a business ready region.

Results

The new website positions OREP as a unified regional authority and a strong competitor in economic development. It enhances usability for site selectors, making critical information more accessible while clearly communicating the region’s value.
